CutTime (Formerly Charms)

CutTime is an accounting, communication and volunteer system utilized by the RHS band program. This is completely separate from any ISD 196 or Rosemount High School system. Questions regarding CutTime should be directed to our coordinators at rhscuttime@gmail.com.

IMPORTANT: Everyone who is a member of the RHSMB should have received a welcome notification text message containing a "Magic Link" which will replace your previous Charms user ID/password. Moving forward, your "Magic Link" is your gateway to your program's information via a portal page within CutTime. You will need to authenticate your "Magic Link" once then will be able to bookmark it for easy reference on any device. (CutTime will use text messaging to send communications rather than email.) All parents/guardians who were in Charms with a cell phone number should have received this text message. Please make sure you click on this link to complete the set up of your account.

Here is more information about how to complete this important step.

NOTE: If you have not received your Magic Link message, please send an email with your full name, students name and cell phone number to rhscuttime@gmail.com.

CutTime is new to everyone, so please be patient as we all navigate this exciting change.

General CutTime FAQ
Q: I don’t see Marching Band Payment #1 taken out of my CutTime account
A: Each student will be billed 4 scheduled payments in the $ Costs Section for the 2024 Marching Band season. You will see the individual payments and fundraising profits in the “$ Payments" section. The dates the payments will be due for this season are set up to be as follows:
  • Payment #1 ($400), due March 15
  • Payment #2 ($450), due May 15
  • Payment #3 ($450), due July 15
  • Payment #4 ($450), due September

Q: I gave my child a check for our Marching Band payment two days ago, but I don’t see the credit in our CutTime Account. Where did the payment go?
A: Payments are manually entered into each student’s CutTime account. Please allow up to 2 weeks to see payments credited to your student’s band account.

Q: I gave my child a check and I am still not seeing it in my CutTime account.
A: If you don’t see a payment credit in the account after a month, then perhaps the student’s name was left off the memo line of the check or it’s in your student’s backpack! Please check with your student.  Without a student name in the memo line of a check, processing can be delayed if we are unable to match the check to a student.

Q: I have a question on our RaiseRight profits.
A: Contact the RaiseRight coordinators, Denise Tyburski and Bethany Bertsch: rhsSCRIP@gmail.com.

Q: Is there a CutTime app?
A: Yes! Look for it on the app stores.

Q: Can I make my payment electronically for band?
A: Yes, in addition to checks or cash, we also offer Venmo and credit card payments directly from CutTime. See page 9 for additional details/instructions.

Q: Who do I contact if I have questions not answered here?
A: CutTime coordinators for the 2024 marching band season are Julie Smith and Laura Tennessen: rhscuttime@gmail.com.
